Founded in 1973, Women Helping Women has grown from a UC student-run hotline into the largest provider of services for survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking in its five-county region. In 2024, the organization served nearly 8,500 survivors through 37,000 crisis intervention services and educated 4,250 youth through evidence-based prevention programs across 65 schools. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support WHW Youth Gender Based Violence Interventions.
