Wesley Chapel Mission Center (WCMC) has been a consistent and reliable provider of after-school services in Over-the-Rhine since 2003. Its programs, serving children from early childhood through high school, are housed in six storefronts along East McMicken Avenue. This neighborhood between two elementary schools and across from a playground is one of the poorest and most violent-crime-ridden areas of the city. The center is known in the neighborhood as a safe and positive place to send school-age children after school. Programs are provided year-round, including Saturdays, at no cost to families. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support KLASS: Keep Learning After School Stops.
