WAVE Foundation is the nonprofit, education arm of the Newport Aquarium, an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Launched in 1999, the Aquarium is owned by a privately held company whose mission is to create family experiences. WAVE Foundation was created alongside the Aquarium with the mission to engage and educate the community with a goal to create stewards and advocates of the natural world. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the Living Curriculum Initiative.
