The University of Cincinnati’s Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Education Center, formerly known as Advancement & Transition Services (ATS), provides transformative programs for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) to enhance education, life skills, independence, and employment opportunities. Based in the UC School of Education, the center fosters an inclusive community where individuals access UC facilities and receive support from faculty, staff, and peer mentors. Through wellness, learning, academic, and employment programs, IDD empowers participants to achieve personal, social, and professional goals, creating pathways to greater independence and fulfillment. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support Eliminating Barriers for Adolescents: Collaboration for Education and Employment Synergy (CEES).
