Starfire Council of Greater Cincinnati evolved from Camp Fire Boys and Girls. In 1986, the Council's Board redirected its resources toward individuals with special needs. As a result, Starfire was established as a nonprofit corporation in 1993. Its mission is to enrich the lives of teens and adults with developmental disabilities through unlimited opportunities that build independence and community inclusion. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the Capstone Connectors program.
