Founded in 1997, the Ohio Justice & Policy Center (OJPC) is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit law firm offering free legal services to help people navigate the criminal justice system, reduce Ohio's prison population, and protect the rights of incarcerated individuals. Its Second Chance Project, launched in 2004, removes criminal record-based barriers to employment, housing, and education — with more than 300 people participating in its legal clinics in 2024 alone. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the Second Chance Project.
