The Sisters of Notre Dame (SND) is an international congregation of 2,000 women serving in eighteen countries. In 1874, SND's arrived in Covington, Kentucky and began teaching at Mother of God School on West 6th Street. Their mission is to serve people through education and other ministries, especially for women and children in urban schools, with the desire to promote the fullness of life for all.
