Lighthouse Youth and Family Services

Lighthouse Youth Services began its work in 1969 when a group of community volunteers opened Ohio's first group home for delinquent girls in the custody of the Ohio Department of Youth Services. Originally called New Life for Girls, the agency changed it to address the unmet needs of youth and families throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, and for boys with serious delinquent behaviors throughout the state of Ohio. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the Lighthouse Sheakley Center for Youth.
