Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati (IHNGC) began on October 26, 1991, with a Day Center located in Lower Price Hill, and eight congregations who opened up the doors of their churches and synagogues to homeless families. Since 1991, the program has grown to include 27 host congregations and 63 support congregations representing people of Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim and Unitarian faiths. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the Enriching The Lives of Children in Emergency Shelter initiative.
