Groundwork Cincinnati - Mill Creek’s (GWC) mission is derived from engagement with the communities that it has served in the Mill Creek Watershed for the last 24 years. These traditionally marginalized communities have a strong environmental injustice component that is often overlooked. GWC’s strategy guides community development and environmental initiatives that impact quality-of-life for Mill Creek residents. GWC is one of 20 Groundwork Trusts in the United States, affiliated with Groundwork USA and with two federal partners, the National Park Service and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. A gift from Pfau Foundation will support the Mill Creek AgroForestry Program.
