The Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky (ESNKY) opened in 2008 as a volunteer coalition and has grown into a year-round, 68-bed facility offering emergency shelter, transitional housing, a daytime navigation center, street outreach, and an onsite healthcare clinic serving nearly 1,500 patient visits annually. Operating on a low-barrier, harm-reduction model, ESNKY served more than 850 guests in FY2024, providing a dignified path from crisis to stability for adults experiencing homelessness in the region. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support Navigation for Young Adults Experiencing Homelessness in Northern Kentucky.
