For the past nearly 20 years, Cincinnati Works has focused on training for job readiness and retention and removing barriers to providing employment opportunities such as
childcare, transportation, and legal difficulties. Over the years, the Cincinnati Works’
program model has been studied extensively and replicated in numerous other cities
including: Houston, Texas; Pensacola, Florida; Madison, Indiana; Canton, Ohio and
Columbus, Ohio. Since inception, Cincinnati Works has helped more than 5,000
individuals gain employment. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the Next Step Program.
