Since 1954, CET, owned by the Greater Cincinnati Television Educational Foundation, has operated as the nation's first noncommercial television station, delivering educational and public television programming across Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana. CET reaches more than 2.3 million viewers and delivers free professional development to over 1,000 teachers and childcare providers each year, alongside thousands of hours of noncommercial programming for preschool and elementary students. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support PBS KIDS and NewsDepth.
