CASA for Clermont Kids (CASA) was established in 1998 and is one of 950 Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) programs nationwide that support court-appointed volunteer advocacy to ensure maltreated children are safe, have permanent homes, and can become thriving adults. The National CASA Association provides oversight to its affiliates and has established best practice standards, including a mandatory self-assessment process to ensure local agencies comply with national requirements. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support training projects.
