Since 1984, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Greater Cincinnati (BHGH) has been caring for and supporting children with strong academic potential from extremely challenging home environments, due to poverty, abuse and/or neglect, divorce, inadequate housing and schooling or substance abuse. BHGH serves an average of 30 7th grade through college-level scholars each year. The model’s success derives from the deep investment of intensive wraparound support provided to a relatively small number of at-risk, high-potential youth. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support Scholar's Therapeutic Mental Health Services .
