Beech Acres Parenting Center was founded in 1849 in response to the cholera epidemic that took the lives of over 4,000 citizens in Cincinnati. For 125 years, they have served as an orphanage, providing a haven for children who had been displaced by parental death, poverty, or other family disruptions. A gift from the Pfau Foundation will support the program, Beyond the Classroom.
