Tri-State Bleeding Disorder Foundation (TSBDF) has a 40-year history of providing support, programs, and services to the bleeding disorder community. The focus of support for the entire family unit is a driving force behind development and implementation of all programs operated by TSBDF. Crayons to Computers provides approximately $1,250,000 worth of free school supplies and educational resources monthly to an average of 100 teacher "shoppers" each day. A teacher shopper takes an average of $700 worth of free educational supplies and resources for their classrooms during each shopping trip. As a result, greater Cincinnati school-age children are equipped with the basic tools they need to engage in their schoolwork and homework. In 1980, during his tenure as Archbishop of Cincinnati, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin created the Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund (CISE) to help combat poverty in Cincinnati's inner city neighborhoods. In addition, there are over 200 CISE school graduates attending Catholic high schools with the help of the CISE High School Grant Program.
